What Is a Good Score in PageOptimizer Pro
The Content Brief:
A good score inside of the content brief is a score of 80%. This is where a majority of our users notice movement for their pages. While this is the score where people notice movement. We recommend attaining a score of 100%, this is because the Content Brief was designed with the intention of it being possible to achieve a score of 100%.
The Signals Strategy:
The Signals strategy, is significantly different from the Content Brief. This is because these recommendations are based on recommendations for each signal covered in POP individually. These recommendations, are given based on data from your competitors for the report.
This is important to remember. As there is no SEO smoothing with this strategy, if you choose to follow 100% of the recommendations in the Compare Data sub-tab. Your page will reflect 1-1, what your competitor pages look like on average. We don't recommend this, because any issue present on your competitor pages after implementing the changes from this tab. Will then exist on your page. If you are not an experienced SEO, who has neither researched, or worked in the particular niche for your report. We recommend not using this strategy, and instead using the Content Brief.
Think of the Content Brief as a tab where recommendations are given to you, with an expert SEO looking over your shoulder at the same time.
A good score for the signals strategy is 60%, this is where users who utilize this tab will begin to notice movement for their page.
Important Things to Note
It is important to remember in PageOptimizer Pro, that there are many factors at play when assigning you a score. Chief among those, is your competitors for that particular report. If you are in a high position in the SERP's (Search Engine Results Page), while it is possible for those below you to have better On Page SEO. It is not a guarantee.
This is notable, because if your page has excellent on page optimization and you compare your page to those with worse on page optimization. Your page is likely to receive a lower score than you expect. As you are comparing an optimized page, to unoptimized pages or lesser optimized pages.
