POP Isn’t Picking up the Changes I’ve Made to My Page.

If POP is not seeing recent changes, the cause is often page caching by the hosting provider.

Before troubleshooting, remember that you do not need to re-run POP just to check your work. The POP Chrome Extension can update your Optimization Score and term counts without another report run.

Possible fixes

1. Use the POP Chrome Extension: run the crawl through the browser extension so hosting-level caching does not block the latest page content.
2. Temporarily disable host caching: if your hosting dashboard allows it, switch caching off while optimizing and turn it back on afterward.
3. Paste the source code manually: use the option to copy and paste HTML/source code during the target-page setup.
4. Wait for the cache to clear: the source article notes that hosting caches often refresh within 24–48 hours.
