I think POP is overcounting a keyword or important term. /or/ POP says I have a term on my page and I don't see it.

In most cases where POP appears to be overcounting something, the count is correct and the website template is adding elements or text that are not obvious in the visual editor.

If the issue is Page Structure

POP recommends checking the page with the free SEO Meta in One Click Chrome Extension because it uses a similar approach for counting items such as headings, images, and anchor tags.

1. Open the target URL.
2. Open SEO Meta in One Click.
3. Select the relevant signal tab, such as Headers for heading tags.
4. Compare the count shown there with POP.

If the two counts are significantly different, contact support with the Report ID, target URL, the POP count, the comparison-tool count, and screenshots.

If the issue is a keyword or important term

1. Open the target page in Chrome.
2. Right-click the page and choose View Source.
3. Use Ctrl+F or Command+F to search for the keyword or term.
4. Compare the source-code count with POP.

Template code often places terms on the page that are not visible inside the normal website editor. If the source-code count and POP count differ, send support the Report ID, target URL, both counts, and screenshots.
