How to use OpenAI Key in POP

This guide explains how to obtain an OpenAI API key and use it with POP AI Writer.

Important: ChatGPT Plus and OpenAI API access are separate products. A ChatGPT Plus subscription does not automatically include API access or API billing.

Create an OpenAI API key

1. Log in to the OpenAI Developer Platform.
2. Open the API Keys section.
3. Create a new secret key.
4. Name the key and choose the appropriate permissions.
5. Copy the key immediately and store it securely.

Add the key to POP

1. Open Account Settings in POP.
2. Select the OpenAI Key menu.
3. Paste the API key into the OpenAI Access Key field.

POP credit cost when using your own API key

• A full article uses 2 POP Credits regardless of word count.
• Each AI content piece includes 5 regeneration credits for titles, headings, and paragraph sections.

When your OpenAI API key is enabled, select Use my OpenAI Key in the AI Writer to activate it.
