POP Authority 90-Day Visibility Guarantee - Terms
1. What we guarantee, and what we don't
1.1 If the Qualifying Page Set does not achieve Visibility Growth (section 3) within the Guarantee Period, PageOptimizer Pro will continue delivering your subscribed plan at no charge for up to 60 additional days (the "Free Work Period"), or until Visibility Growth is achieved, whichever comes first. The Free Work Period has no cash value, is non-transferable, cannot be exchanged for a refund, credit or other service, and is limited to the standard value of no more than 60 days of the eligible base subscription.
1.2 The Free Work Period is the sole remedy under this guarantee. No refund of fees is offered. You retain full ownership and use of all content produced, whether or not Visibility Growth is achieved. Your subscription has no minimum term and you may cancel at any time under our standard terms; this guarantee does not change that.
1.3 This guarantee covers Google Search impressions on the pages we create or optimize, as defined in section 3. It is not a guarantee of clicks, sessions, traffic, leads, enquiries, conversions, sales, revenue, AI or LLM answer citations, or any specific ranking position for any keyword. Visibility Growth does not require every Qualifying Page to grow. It is achieved when the page-set threshold in section 3.8 is met.
1.4 Why we guarantee visibility and not traffic. We control the strategy, content and optimisation we deliver. We don't control Google's crawling, indexing, canonical or ranking decisions, and we don't control your pricing, brand, reviews, offer or sales process — which is what traffic and revenue actually depend on. So we don't guarantee those. We guarantee a defined visibility benchmark on the pages we build, and a service remedy if we miss it.
2. Eligibility
2.1 The Guarantee Eligibility Check. Before your setup fee is charged, we carry out a Guarantee Eligibility Check using the criteria in 2.3 and confirm in writing whether the guarantee applies to your account. If we decline, you may proceed with the service without the guarantee at the same price, or cancel at no cost. If a setup fee has already been taken at the point we decline, it is refunded in full.
2.2 Search Console access. The Check and the guarantee both require verified Google Search Console access granted to PageOptimizer Pro before setup begins, and maintained without interruption throughout the Guarantee Period and any Free Work Period. Without it we cannot benchmark or verify, and the guarantee does not apply.
2.3 Eligibility criteria. Your site is eligible unless one or more of the following applies at the date of the Check:
- You became a POP Authority client before 15th August 2026.
- Verified Search Console access has not been granted, or the agreed Search Console property has fewer than 90 complete days of usable performance data.
- A manual action is recorded in the Search Console Security & Manual Actions report
- Organic impressions across the trailing 90 days are below 50% of the preceding 90 days
- Fewer than 20 pages are indexed, or fewer than 50% of the valid URLs included in the site’s primary submitted XML sitemap are indexed.
- The domain is less than 6 months old and has no indexed footprint
- Primary page templates are blocked from crawling, or do not return a successful response.
- PageOptimizer Pro may also decline the guarantee where it identifies another material issue that is likely to prevent reliable measurement, crawling or indexing, provided that the reason is explained in writing before the setup fee is charged.
2.4 What the Check does not cover. The Guarantee Eligibility Check is a review of Google Search Console signals only. It is not a backlink audit, a full technical crawl, a domain history review, or a diagnosis of any Google penalty. Passing the Check is not a representation that your site is free of technical, backlink or historical problems.
2.5 One guarantee per domain. Non-transferable. Requires an initial Qualifying Page Set of at least 4 pages (see 3.3). Not available on Booster Packs purchased alone, and Booster Packs are not included in any Free Work Period. Cannot be combined with discounts exceeding 20% of list price. Requires a subscription in good standing with all invoices paid when due.
3. How Visibility Growth is measured
3.1 Campaign Start Date: the date PageOptimizer Pro confirms in writing that the complete initial Qualifying Page Set, containing at least four pages, has been entered in the Qualifying Page Register.
3.2 Guarantee Period — 90 consecutive days from the Campaign Start Date.
3.3 Qualifying Page — a page created or optimised by PageOptimizer Pro under this agreement, published live in the form approved by PageOptimizer Pro, publicly accessible, technically indexable, recorded by us in the Qualifying Page Register, and remaining continuously live, accessible, indexable and materially unaltered for at least 90 consecutive days at the assessment date. Pages that existed before your engagement and were upgraded by us are treated the same as new pages, with measurement running from the date our optimised version is published live.
Qualifying Page Set — all Qualifying Pages at the relevant assessment date. The initial Qualifying Page Set is your first month's content batch.
3.4 The Qualifying Page Register. Within 5 business days of a page being published, we confirm in writing whether it has entered the Register, or what prevents it. The Register is shared with you and updated throughout the campaign. The Register determines which pages are included in the guarantee.
c.22 and c.23 give you the power to confirm which pages count, which is sensible — but on its own that is the same discretion problem as old 2.2, relocated. The 5-day obligation and the shared Register convert it into a documented process. Keep this; it is what makes the rest of section 3 defensible.
3.5 Measurement windows. For each Qualifying Page, Day 1 is the date PageOptimizer Pro confirms the page is live and meets all qualifying conditions. The Benchmark Window is days 1–30 inclusive. The Measurement Window is days 31–90 inclusive.
3.6 Which impressions count. Impressions are measured in the Google Search Console Performance report for your property, filtered to the exact URL of each Qualifying Page, with Search type set to Web. All countries, all devices, and both branded and non-branded queries are included. Where Google selects a canonical URL other than the Qualifying Page's URL, that page is removed from the Qualifying Page Set and counts neither as grown nor as failed.
New clause, answering c.7 and c.25. This was the largest undefined term in v1 and the most likely source of a live dispute.
The canonical rule matters: when Google reassigns the canonical, impressions attribute to the other URL through no fault of either party. Removing the page is cleaner than arguing about it.
3.7 When a page has grown. A page has grown if either:
- (a) its average daily impressions in the Measurement Window are at least 125% of its average daily impressions in the Benchmark Window; or
- (b) it records at least 30 impressions in total across its Measurement Window.
PageOptimizer Pro applies both tests to every Qualifying Page and reports the result.
Maria (c.27) wanted the low-volume rule to replace the percentage test rather than sit alongside it, so customers can't pick whichever suits them. Worth walking through with her, because the direction of risk runs the other way.
The customer wants pages to fail — failure is what triggers free work. A second route to passing is therefore purely protective for POP, and there is no choice for anyone to exercise: both limbs are arithmetic you compute and publish.
The segregated version is the one that costs you. A page with 300 impressions in its first 30 days that then settles into a normal post-freshness plateau fails the 125% test, while a near-dud on 4 impressions passes on 30. That makes your best-performing accounts your most likely claimants.
3.8 Visibility Growth is achieved when At each reassessment, additional pages that have met all qualifying conditions and have been live for at least 90 days may be added to the Qualifying Page Set. These additional pages may count toward the fixed number of grown pages required under section 3.8, but they do not increase that required number.
Worked examples:
Four pages: two required.
Five pages: two required.
Six pages: three required.
Eight pages: four required.
3.9 Source of truth. All measurement is taken from the Google Search Console property for your website, to which both you and PageOptimizer Pro have access throughout. This is the sole and determinative data source, and you can verify any figure we report directly from the same property at any time. Third-party rank trackers, analytics platforms and estimated-traffic tools are not accepted as evidence.
3.10 Our reporting obligation. Within 7 days of the end of the Guarantee Period we send you the assessment showing, for every Qualifying Page, its Benchmark and Measurement Window impressions and whether it has grown.
4. Your obligations
The guarantee is conditional on you:
4.1 Publishing every deliverable live, in full and unaltered, within 14 days of delivery — or granting us publishing access so we can do it for you. If a deliverable is not published within 14 days, the Campaign Start Date and all related measurement dates shift by the same number of days, and we may exclude the affected page from the Qualifying Page Set.
7 days was tight enough that a meaningful share of your book would be in technical breach by week two, leaving you either enforcing (the dispute, relocated) or not enforcing (the term is decorative). 14 days plus Maria's date-shift mechanism from c.31 is enforceable without being punitive.
4.2 Keeping all Qualifying Pages continuously published, publicly accessible, returning a valid successful response, accessible to Googlebot, indexable, and available at their approved URLs throughout the Guarantee Period and any Free Work Period. A Qualifying Page must not be noindexed, blocked by robots.txt, password protected, redirected, removed from the agreed domain, or assigned a canonical URL not approved by PageOptimizer Pro.
4.3 Not materially editing the title tags, headings, body content, internal links or schema of Qualifying Pages without our written approval.
4.4 Maintaining our verified Google Search Console access without interruption, on the agreed property.
4.5 Keeping your subscription active, unpaused and paid.
4.6 Notifying us in writing of any site migration, redesign, CMS change, domain change, theme, plugin, hosting, domain, navigation, redirect, canonical or site-structure change, or engagement of another SEO provider working on Qualifying Pages for technical SEO, content changes, internal linking, backlink building, backlink removal, disavowal or other SEO work affecting the website.
5. Page removal, pauses and voiding
5.1 Page-level consequences. If a Qualifying Page is unpublished, de-indexed, moved, redirected, made inaccessible, or materially altered in breach of section 4, that page is removed from the Qualifying Page Set. The guarantee continues in respect of all remaining Qualifying Pages, and the threshold in 3.8 continues to be calculated on the initial Qualifying Page Set.
This is the proportionality fix. v1's 5.2 voided the entire guarantee if a client or third party touched any single page — the profile most likely to be struck as unfair under Australia's small-business regime, which now carries civil penalties, and under UK and EU equivalents. Proportionate remedies survive scrutiny; blanket ones attract it.
You lose nothing commercially: a client who wrecks half their pages simply shrinks their own sample while the required number stays fixed.
5.2 Pauses. The Guarantee period and Free Work period pauses, day for day, while the site is unavailable or uncrawlable for reasons outside our control, or while we are awaiting a response to a written request from us that states a deadline and is required for us to proceed.
5.3 Voiding. The guarantee is void only if: cumulative pause days exceed 30; your subscription is paused, cancelled or falls into arrears; the site is de-indexed site-wide; a site migration or domain change occurs without the notice required by 4.6; or you or a third party acting for you take action triggering a Google manual action during the Guarantee Period.
5.3 Voiding. The guarantee is void if: cumulative pause days exceed 30; your subscription is paused, cancelled or falls into arrears; required Google Search Console access is unavailable for more than 7 cumulative days; information provided during the Guarantee Eligibility Check was materially false or incomplete; the site is de-indexed site-wide; a site migration or domain change occurs without the notice required by section 4.6; you or another provider make changes that materially affect the Qualifying Pages, the website’s ability to rank, or our ability to measure the guarantee; a material breach of section 4 is not corrected after written notice; you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute; a Google manual action occurs during the Guarantee Period or Free Work Period; or you refuse access, information or cooperation reasonably required for us to deliver the service or assess the guarantee.
Where the guarantee is void, no Free Work Period, refund, service credit or other remedy is due under this guarantee, except where required by applicable law.
6. Claims and the Free Work Period
6.1 Claims must be submitted in writing within 21 days of the date we send the assessment under 3.10. Claims outside this window are not accepted.
The v1 window ran from the end of the Guarantee Period with no obligation on you to tell anyone the result, which is a gotcha. Tying it to your own report makes it defensible.
6.2 PageOptimizer Pro will review the claim, customer compliance, eligibility status and Search Console calculation. If the claim is accepted, the Free Work Period begins on the customer’s next normal subscription renewal date. It does not apply retrospectively to invoices already issued or paid.
6.3 The Free Work Period includes the standard monthly content volume of the eligible base plan approved at the Campaign Start Date, or the customer’s current lower plan if the subscription was later downgraded. A later upgrade does not increase the free-service entitlement.
Answers c.3. Adjust to match what the tiers actually include.
6.4 If Visibility Growth has not been achieved by the final day-60 reassessment, the Free Work Period ends automatically. Normal billing resumes at the next billing cycle unless the customer cancels under the standard subscription terms. No further free work, refund, credit or compensation is due under this guarantee.
7. Exclusions
7.1 This guarantee does not cover paid search, performance of pages outside the Qualifying Page Set, conversions or revenue, search engines other than Google, or AI or LLM answer citations.
7.2 This guarantee does not apply to results materially affected by events outside PageOptimizer Pro's reasonable control, including:
- Google core, spam, ranking, indexing or reporting changes
- Google's crawling, indexing and canonical decisions
- Changes to Google Search Console data, methodology or availability
- Site-wide technical, hosting, DNS, CDN, security or malware events
- Changes made by you, your developers, or other agencies
- Seasonality, market demand, search behaviour, and competitor activity
- Force majeure: Where an excluded event materially affects a page, campaign or measurement, PageOptimizer Pro may reasonably pause or extend the applicable period, remove the affected page, adjust the calculation, or declare the guarantee inapplicable. We will explain the decision in writing.
- Changes to or problems with the website’s backlink profile, including lost links, harmful links, new link-building activity, backlink removals, disavowals, link-related penalties or off-site SEO work by the customer or another provider.
Maria's c.34 list was legally sound but ran to fifteen items, which immediately after a bold guarantee reads as we guarantee nothing and undercuts the marketing. Much of it is also now redundant, since 5.1 already removes pages affected by hosting outages, hacking, client edits and migrations. Consolidated to seven categories covering the same ground.
7.3 Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under applicable consumer law.
Terms version. The version of this guarantee accepted when the account passes the Guarantee Eligibility Check applies to that campaign. Later changes apply only to campaigns approved after the updated terms take effect.

- Run the backtest. Apply section 3 retroactively to every client with Search Console history and count payouts. Set the 3.8 threshold and the 2.3 criteria from the result.
- Decide on the setup fee refund in the note at 1.2 — a real, capped, advertisable concession.
- Confirm 6.3 matches the plan tiers.
- Check 1.3's AI/LLM exclusion against current POP Authority marketing. If the sales page leans on AI visibility, this exclusion will read as a bait-and-switch.
- Check no marketing asset still references "Good News wins" as the guarantee metric.
- Legal review, prioritising UK, EU and Australia.
